Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPI1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SPI1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher SPI1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPI1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and UCEC show a favorable association.

GBM, PDAC, and UCEC are the cancer types where SPI1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
