Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPEM1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SPEM1 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher SPEM1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPEM1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CESC and SCLC show a favorable association.

KICH, COAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where SPEM1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
