Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPDYE5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SPDYE5 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher SPDYE5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPDYE5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD, HNSC, and SKCM are the cancer types where SPDYE5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
