Across TCGA cell cohorts, SPDEF RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,370 significant associations in total. BREAST shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SPDEF-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Cilium or flagellum-dependent cell motility, Lateral line system development, and Body fluid secretion. Each is linked with SPDEF in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SPDEF-to-partner and partner-to-SPDEF results are reported.
