Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPATS2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SPATS2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher SPATS2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPATS2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and UCEC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, COAD, and PDAC are the cancer types where SPATS2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
