Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPATA33 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SPATA33 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher SPATA33 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPATA33 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA are the cancer types where SPATA33 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
