Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPATA33 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SPATA33 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher SPATA33 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPATA33 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and CCRCC show a favorable association.
UCEC, GBM, and CCRCC are the cancer types where SPATA33 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
