Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPATA31C2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SPATA31C2 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher SPATA31C2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPATA31C2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC show a favorable association.
LIHC, SKCM, and HNSC are the cancer types where SPATA31C2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
