Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPATA17 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SPATA17 data layer compared with 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), where higher SPATA17 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPATA17 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as READ and BRCA show a favorable association.

READ, LIHC, and LGG are the cancer types where SPATA17 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
