Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPATA12 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SPATA12 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher SPATA12 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPATA12 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

STAD and LIHC are the cancer types where SPATA12 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
