Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPANXN4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SPANXN4 data layer compared with 10 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher SPANXN4 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPANXN4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SCLC are the cancer types where SPANXN4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
