Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPAG17 RNA is linked to patient survival in 28 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SPAG17 data layer compared with 11 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher SPAG17 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPAG17 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ACC and READ show a favorable association.

ACC, DLBC, and LGG are the cancer types where SPAG17 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
