Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SP140L mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SP140L data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher SP140L mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SP140L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and PDAC show a favorable association.

GBM, UCEC, and HNSC are the cancer types where SP140L mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
