Across TCGA patient cohorts, SP1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 10,060 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SP1-associated genes across cancer lineages are ZNF740, KANSL2, and C2CD5. Each is linked with SP1 in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SP1-to-partner and partner-to-SP1 results are reported.
