Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SOX30 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SOX30 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher SOX30 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SOX30 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and CCRCC show a favorable association.
HNSC and CCRCC are the cancer types where SOX30 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
