Across TCGA patient cohorts, SOX10 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 5,944 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SOX10-associated genes across cancer lineages are TAFA4, QKI, and PLPPR1. Each is linked with SOX10 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SOX10-to-partner and partner-to-SOX10 results are reported.
