Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SORL1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SORL1 data layer compared with 11 for mutation status and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher SORL1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SORL1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and ACC show a favorable association.
UVM, KIRC, and ACC are the cancer types where SORL1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
