Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SORD2P RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SORD2P data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher SORD2P RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SORD2P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LIHC and LGG show a favorable association.
MESO, ACC, and SKCM are the cancer types where SORD2P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
