Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SOCS2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SOCS2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher SOCS2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SOCS2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC and LUAD are the cancer types where SOCS2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
