Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNX8 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SNX8 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher SNX8 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SNX8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, LIHC, and LUAD are the cancer types where SNX8 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
