Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNX8 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SNX8 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher SNX8 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SNX8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CCRCC, UCEC, and HNSC are the cancer types where SNX8 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
