Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNX2 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 12 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of SNX2’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where SNX2 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types SNX2 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as LUAD and THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.

LUAD, THCA, and LIHC are the cancer types where SNX2 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
