Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNU13 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 11 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of SNU13’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where SNU13 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types SNU13 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KICH and KIRC show the opposite, repressed pattern.
COAD, LIHC, and HNSC are the cancer types where SNU13 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
