Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNTB2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SNTB2 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher SNTB2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SNTB2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, LAML, and MESO are the cancer types where SNTB2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
