Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNTB1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SNTB1 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 3 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher SNTB1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SNTB1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and SKCM show a favorable association.

UVM, KIRP, and LUAD are the cancer types where SNTB1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
