Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNORD3C RNA is linked to patient survival in 12 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SNORD3C data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher SNORD3C RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SNORD3C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD show a favorable association.
MESO, SKCM, and BLCA are the cancer types where SNORD3C RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
