SNORD13E

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNORD13E RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 4 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of SNORD13E’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where SNORD13E RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types SNORD13E is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KIRP and BRCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.

KIRP, BRCA, and STAD are the cancer types where SNORD13E tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
