Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNORD13D RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of SNORD13D’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where SNORD13D RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types SNORD13D is over-expressed in tumor.
BLCA, HNSC, and ESCA are the cancer types where SNORD13D tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
