Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNORD116-17 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SNORD116-17 data layer compared with 9 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher SNORD116-17 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SNORD116-17 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
OV and LUSC are the cancer types where SNORD116-17 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
