Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNORD115-44 RNA is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SNORD115-44 data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher SNORD115-44 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SNORD115-44 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

KIRC, OV, and KICH are the cancer types where SNORD115-44 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
