Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNORD115-37 RNA is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SNORD115-37 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher SNORD115-37 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SNORD115-37 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRC, SKCM, and BLCA are the cancer types where SNORD115-37 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
