Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNORD115-34 RNA is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SNORD115-34 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher SNORD115-34 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SNORD115-34 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LGG show a favorable association.

KIRP, STAD, and LGG are the cancer types where SNORD115-34 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
