Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNORD115-14 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SNORD115-14 data layer compared with 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher SNORD115-14 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SNORD115-14 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

SKCM are the cancer types where SNORD115-14 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
