Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNORD115-12 RNA is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SNORD115-12 data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher SNORD115-12 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SNORD115-12 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LIHC and BRCA are the cancer types where SNORD115-12 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
