Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNORD114-4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 10 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SNORD114-4 data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher SNORD114-4 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SNORD114-4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LAML and GBM show a favorable association.

BLCA, LUSC, and CESC are the cancer types where SNORD114-4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
