Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNORD113-5 RNA is linked to patient survival in 10 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SNORD113-5 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher SNORD113-5 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SNORD113-5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA show a favorable association.

STAD, KICH, and UCEC are the cancer types where SNORD113-5 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
