Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNORD113-5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SNORD113-5 data layer compared with 10 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher SNORD113-5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SNORD113-5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

SKCM and LUAD are the cancer types where SNORD113-5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
