Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNORD113-3 RNA is linked to patient survival in 16 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SNORD113-3 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher SNORD113-3 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SNORD113-3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and LAML show a favorable association.

LUSC, THCA, and COAD are the cancer types where SNORD113-3 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
