Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNORD105B RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of SNORD105B’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where SNORD105B RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types SNORD105B is over-expressed in tumor.
STAD, COAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where SNORD105B tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
