Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNORD104 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SNORD104 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher SNORD104 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SNORD104 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and BLCA show a favorable association.
KIRC, ACC, and UVM are the cancer types where SNORD104 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
