Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNORC RNA is linked to patient survival in 28 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SNORC data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher SNORC RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SNORC expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and SCLC show a favorable association.
ACC, KIRC, and UCEC are the cancer types where SNORC RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
