Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNORA70B RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of SNORA70B’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where SNORA70B RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types SNORA70B is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
COAD, THCA, and BRCA are the cancer types where SNORA70B tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
