Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNORA40B RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of SNORA40B’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where SNORA40B RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types SNORA40B is over-expressed in tumor.
LIHC are the cancer types where SNORA40B tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
