Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNORA3C RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of SNORA3C’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where SNORA3C RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types SNORA3C is over-expressed in tumor.
LUSC, READ, and HNSC are the cancer types where SNORA3C tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
