Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNORA2C RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 9 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of SNORA2C’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where SNORA2C RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types SNORA2C is over-expressed in tumor.

UCEC, KIRC, and COAD are the cancer types where SNORA2C tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
