SMYD5

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, SMYD5 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,099 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SMYD5-associated genes across cancer lineages are PRORP, EIF3J, and OIP5. Each is linked with SMYD5 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMYD5-to-partner and partner-to-SMYD5 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, PRORP grouped by SMYD5-low versus SMYD5-high in UCEC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (SMYD5→partner) and Y-score (partner→SMYD5) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
