Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA cell cohorts, SMYD5 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 13 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible SMYD5-associated genes across cancer lineages are ASPN, RANGRF, and DYNLL1. Each is linked with SMYD5 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMYD5-to-partner and partner-to-SMYD5 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, ASPN grouped by SMYD5-low versus SMYD5-high in LARGE_INTESTINE.
mutation associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (SMYD5→partner) and Y-score (partner→SMYD5) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
