Across TCGA cell cohorts, SMURF2 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 6 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Leukemia shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible SMURF2-associated genes across cancer lineages are GSC2, DEFA6, and LRIT2. Each is linked with SMURF2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMURF2-to-partner and partner-to-SMURF2 results are reported.
