Across TCGA cell cohorts, SMURF1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 4,275 significant associations in total. CNS shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SMURF1-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Pre-mRNA catabolic process, Peptidyl-serine phosphorylation, and Regulation of axon extension. Each is linked with SMURF1 in more than 15 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMURF1-to-partner and partner-to-SMURF1 results are reported.
