Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, SMPD2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 6,347 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible SMPD2-associated genes across cancer lineages are MRPS25, KIF15, and CDC23. Each is linked with SMPD2 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMPD2-to-partner and partner-to-SMPD2 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, SMPD2 versus MRPS25 in HNSC, with a Pearson correlation of -0.38.
protein abundance associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (SMPD2→partner) and Y-score (partner→SMPD2) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
